DOE Invests $518 Million to Strengthen U.S. Carbon Storage Infrastructure
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) announced $518 million in new funding to expand large-scale carbon storage projects across 19 states. The investment supports safe, permanent carbon dioxide (CO₂) storage and high-quality jobs through the CarbonSAFE initiative.
